Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient histories and tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver impactful patient care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering clients to process their trauma, build coping strategies, and support one another in their healing journeys.

• Offer crisis intervention and timely support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients are primarily individuals impacted by trauma, often dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work closely with these clients to help them navigate their emotional challenges and foster healing. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to document patient interactions and treatments efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
