Work Environment\n

This role is conducted entirely through a remote telehealth platform, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; however, some adjustments may be necessary based on patient requirements, ensuring that we provide comprehensive and responsive care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain an understanding of each patient’s trauma history, which is essential for devising effective treatment plans.

• Create and implement personalized treatment strategies aimed at fostering resilience and facilitating trauma recovery.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients navigate their trauma experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient receives integrated and holistic care tailored to their unique needs.

• Offer crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that patients have immediate support and guidance.

• Educate patients and their families about the nature of trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources that promote wellness.

• Maintain detailed and confidential patient documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for accuracy and efficiency.

• Participate in case consultations and collaborate in team meetings to enhance the quality of care delivered.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Allure Counseling Center, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced severe trauma. This includes but is not limited to clients dealing with PTSD, survivors of abuse, or those facing complicated psychological responses following traumatic events. You will play a critical role in assisting them in their journey toward recovery and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
