Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s history and determine the most effective treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on the development of coping strategies and resilience.

• Provide specialized therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can process their experiences and share coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless and integrated care for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention when needed, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential patient documentation, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Continuously seek out and apply the latest research and evidence-based practices in trauma therapy to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on individuals who have suffered trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD and complex trauma. Your clinical expertise will assist a diverse array of patients, helping them navigate challenges unique to their experiences and promoting a pathway to healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience providing therapeutic services is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.
\n
• A proven ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Technical proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• A collaborative mindset suitable for teamwork in a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experiential knowledge is preferred, candidates with a robust understanding of trauma-focused therapies and experience in similar settings will be highly valued. The ability to engage with patients from diverse backgrounds and varying life circumstances is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary between USD 90,000 and 105,000, commensurate with experience.
