Key Responsibilities\n

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' backgrounds and trauma history.

• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that emphasize recovery from trauma and skills for resilience.

• Providing evidence-based interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and clinical staff to provide integrated, holistic care.

• Delivering timely crisis interventions and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educating patients and their family members about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms.

• Maintaining thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will directly impact a diverse range of individuals dealing with severe trauma and mental health challenges. You will engage with patients who may have experienced various forms of trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other distressing life events. Creating a safe and validating space for these clients is paramount, emphasizing trust and understanding in every interaction.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders, including PTSD and dissociation, as well as trauma-informed therapy approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, applicants with demonstrated expertise in trauma-focused therapies and a proven track record of actively contributing to client recovery outcomes will be prioritized. Compensation and Benefits\n
