You will work primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional adjustments based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's background and establish tailored therapeutic engagements.

• Developing, implementing, and regularly updating individualized treatment plans that emphasize recovery from trauma and the enhancement of resilience.

• Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support healing.

• Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions that empower patients to process their trauma, learn effective coping strategies, and promote personal healing.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive therapeutic support.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating your expertise and compassion in high-pressure situations.

• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and community resources available to assist in recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
