Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your work while staying connected with our collaborative team. Our outpatient office is designed to be a safe haven for individuals seeking mental health services, and members of our team are committed to working together to promote the emotional and psychological well-being of our patients. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that center on trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions to help patients effectively process their trauma and enhance coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, medical professionals, and our multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care and ensure continuity of service for all patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and support services to patients undergoing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a quick and effective response.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and opportunities for professional development concerning trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, providing specialized support to those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. It is essential to approach each patient with empathy and understanding to build a trusting therapeutic relationship that fosters healing.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focusing on trauma-informed care.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to apply trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine and compassionate approach to patient care.

• Ability to maintain composure and calm in stressful situations while providing support.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

• Capability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preference will be given to candidates with significant experience in delivering trauma therapy, as well as those who have previously worked in outpatient settings with similar patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
