Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories, utilizing a variety of assessment tools and techniques.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and individual patient goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions rooted in evidence-based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that assist patients in processing their trauma experiences and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing evidence-based protocols.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources available for support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring meticulous documentation and adherence to privacy regulations.
