Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, which may include therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting patients in processing their trauma, reinforcing coping strategies, and fostering healing.

• Engaging in continuous collaboration with psychiatrists and various other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive holistic and integrated care.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources to further support their recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities aimed at enhancing trauma-informed practices.

• Staying informed about the latest research and evolved methodologies in trauma therapy to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with individuals affected by various trauma experiences, including those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your role will be pivotal in supporting these patients through their recovery journeys, validating their experiences, and helping them rebuild their lives. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate compassion and a non-judgmental attitude towards patients.

• The ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-stress situations, reinforcing trust with clients.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

While we recommend at least 2 years of post-licensure experience, strong candidates who have experience in trauma care, including knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, will stand out. Experience in delivering trauma-focused interventions will also be a significant advantage.

This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
