Our working hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand clients' trauma histories and determine tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and promote resilience through evidence-based practices.

• Utilize specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective treatment paths.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and integrated care for each patient.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during high-stress situations, helping clients navigate trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, beneficial coping strategies, and available resources for ongoing support.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.

• Regularly participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance trauma-informed care practices.

• Remain informed about the latest research and evolving best practices in mental health therapy, particularly trauma-focused approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, requiring specific attention to those affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. The clientele may also comprise adolescents and adults coping with the long-lasting effects of emotional distress, necessitating a compassionate, tailored approach to each therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working in mental health therapy.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related conditions, trauma-informed treatment methodologies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that foster recovery.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress scenarios, ensuring effective crisis management.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• Capability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

While we require post-licensure experience, candidates with a background in trauma-informed care or those who have worked in community health settings will be given special consideration. Familiarity with various evidence-based trauma therapies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
