Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ backgrounds, specific trauma histories, and psychosocial functioning, paving the way for targeted treatment strategies.

• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery goals, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to process their trauma, learn coping strategies, and engage in healing dialogues.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multi-disciplinary professionals to provide integrated, holistic care, ensuring that each client receives comprehensive support tailored to their psychological and emotional barriers.

• Be prepared to provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, utilizing de-escalation techniques and support resources to stabilize situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, promoting understanding and resilience through workshops and informational sessions.

• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development to stay informed about the latest innovations and research trends in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Mindful Healing Solutions, you will primarily work with a diverse client population that includes adults, adolescents, and families affected by various forms of trauma. Our clients often seek help for challenges such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other mental health issues stemming from traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting is strongly preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment methodologies is essential.

• Proven expertise in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and demonstrated capabilities in navigating sensitive client backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy, are critical.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-stress environments and effectively handle emergency situations is required.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and basic computer applications is necessary for documentation and scheduling.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandated, experience in trauma-focused therapeutic practices, particularly with evidence-based modalities like EMDR and TF-CBT, will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually.
