Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and current concerns, enabling the development of tailored therapeutic strategies.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, incorporating goals that drive resilience and personal growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients effectively.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to empower patients to process their trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and promote overall healing.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, offering support and immediate assistance as needed.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and available resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all patient interactions, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities focusing on trauma-informed care and stay informed on the latest research and therapeutic modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist with Millennial Counseling Centre, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, and related dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, requiring culturally competent and sensitive care tailored to each individual’s unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
