Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage self-exploration, coping strategy development, and psychological healing.

• Integrate care by closely collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each patient's well-being.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and offer resources for ongoing support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical practices.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and learning to continuously enhance our trauma-informed care practices.

• Commit to ongoing professional development and stay updated with current research on trauma therapy and mental health treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily focuses on individuals impacted by trauma, including those facing challenges from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. As a mental health therapist, you will work with a diverse range of clients, providing tailored support and interventions designed to empower them on their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon is required.

• At least two years of relevant experience post-licensure is preferred, with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care approaches.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective treatment modalities will be crucial in your role.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to build trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Two years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies will position you for success. Experience in utilizing various trauma-informed therapies and interventions tailored to diverse client needs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
