Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience building, and the unique needs of each patient.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions designed to help patients process their trauma, develop coping strategies, and promote overall emotional well-being.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated and holistic patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and effective responses.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, enabling them to better understand the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards through efficient EHR systems.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative approach to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals affected by trauma, including survivors of childhood abuse, domestic violence, and other traumatic life experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Strong ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and provide unwavering support to patients in crisis.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications to maintain efficient workflow and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.
