Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to gain insight into patients' trauma history and establish appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that emphasize recovery from trauma and the development of coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to enhance patient recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their trauma processing journey and equipping them with practical strategies for healing.

• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and clinical psychologists, to deliver integrated and holistic care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-exacerbated emergencies, ensuring immediate assistance and appropriate follow-up.

• Educate patients and their families about the trauma recovery process, potential psychological responses, and effective coping mechanisms.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advances in trauma therapy to ensure the delivery of the most effective treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to emotional, psychological, and physical distress. This role calls for a nuanced understanding of trauma-related disorders and the application of trauma-informed therapeutic approaches aimed at mitigating the effects of these experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and a strong background in evidence-based interventions will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
