Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and establish appropriate treatment modalities.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, tailored to each individual's needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging patients to process their trauma experiences and develop effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all clients.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while providing resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your compassionate approach will help these clients process their experiences, navigate their symptoms, and develop resilience through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California is essential.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health role is preferred.

• Demonstrable knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methods is crucial for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
