Work Environment\n

This role will be performed in a remote setting, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while maintaining high-quality care standards. Our community health clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adjustments based on patient availability and needs. By leveraging telehealth technology, you will be able to reach clients where they are, providing critical therapeutic support in an accessible manner.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to gauge patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans that aim to aid in trauma recovery and build resilience over time.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group settings.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that address trauma processing, coping mechanisms, and healing strategies.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.

• Providing immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing a compassionate and structured approach.

• Guiding clients and their families through educational resources concerning trauma responses and available community support systems.

• Ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other adverse life events. Many clients may present with complex mental health challenges stemming from their experiences, such as anxiety, depression, and relational difficulties. Your experience and skills will be vital in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journey, empowering them to reclaim their lives.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically within trauma-informed care.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and related treatment modalities.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapeutic techniques.

• Strong communications skills, accompanied by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Stentorian Diagnostic and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
