Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and inform treatment plans.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), strategically adapting your approach to meet the needs of each patient.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering patients to process their trauma while equipping them with effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient’s care.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a quick and supportive response.

• Educate patients and their loved ones on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance treatment strategies and share insights on trauma-informed methodologies.

• Continuously seek knowledge and stay informed about the latest developments in trauma therapy to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of our practice is on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
