Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with strategies to process trauma and build resilience, while promoting healing through supportive discussion and therapeutic exercises.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care that addresses the varying aspects of patients' mental health needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques and immediate support strategies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available treatment options, empowering them to take an active role in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring a clear record of patient progress and treatment efficacy.

• Participate in ongoing training and development, staying current with best practices in trauma therapy and contributing to the continuous improvement of therapeutic methodologies within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients who have experienced trauma, encompassing those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
