Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building, utilizing evidence-based methods.
\n
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, fostering coping strategies, and achieving personal growth.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support for clients in trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Maintain comprehensive, precise documentation of client interactions in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Attend team meetings and case consultations focused on trauma-informed care strategies and continuous professional development.

• Stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma survivors, particularly those dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a heterogeneous client base, including adults and adolescents from various socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, allowing you to enrich your therapeutic approach while addressing diverse client needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
\n
• A strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• A team-oriented mindset, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience of at least two years post-licensure is preferred. Additionally, experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and familiarity with resilience-building approaches will be highly beneficial in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
