Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conducting trauma-informed assessments to understand patients’ trauma history, which inform personalized treatment strategies.

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Delivering evidence-based therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a structured environment for patients to process their experiences and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other health professionals to guarantee integrated and comprehensive care for all patients.

• Providing immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies to help stabilize patients and connect them with appropriate support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. Our patients represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences, and your role will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery processes. This diverse client base allows therapists to engage deeply and develop a tailored approach for each individual.

Qualifications\n

We seek candidates with the following credentials:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure therapeutic experience preferred, particularly with trauma-focused therapies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
