Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each client’s history and identify their unique therapeutic needs.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and resilience, involving evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for clients to process their experiences, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and foster emotional healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and additional healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment approach for each client, ensuring all aspects of their mental health are addressed.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, providing immediate support and intervention when clients face trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, equipping them with the knowledge and tools for ongoing recovery.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in accordance with industry standards and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a collaborative approach to trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with research developments and best practices within trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

This position primarily focuses on individuals grappling with trauma-related conditions, including PTSD and complex trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensing as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical environment, ideally working with trauma survivors.

• A thorough understanding of trauma-informed practices, trauma-related disorders, and resilience-building strategies.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills fosters the development of trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

• The ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate successfully on a multidisciplinary health care team.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with extensive experience in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions or those who have specialized training in modalities such as EMDR will be highly regarded. Compensation and Benefits\n
