Work Environment\n

This position offers the unique opportunity of remote work, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while adhering to a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While there may be some flexibility based on patient needs, our virtual setting fosters collaboration and connection, ensuring seamless communication among team members, even when working remotely.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and formulate appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience enhancement, prioritizing each individual’s unique needs and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their traumas, develop effective coping strategies, and foster a sense of empowerment and healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care that best supports patient recovery.

• Offer crisis intervention during instances of trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating professionalism and calmness in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families about the impacts of trauma, coping mechanisms, and available resources, fostering an informed and supportive environment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring accuracy in all patient interactions.

• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education initiatives focused on the advancement of trauma-informed care.

• Stay informed of the latest research and therapeutic trends in trauma therapy to continually enhance skill sets and treatment quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals who have faced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to veterans, survivors of abuse, first responders, and recent trauma victims. The clinician’s role is crucial in sensitively addressing their unique experiences and fostering a safe space for healing. You will utilize specialized therapeutic techniques aimed at nurturing resilience and self-empowerment among these individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) to practice in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Strong capacity for establishing rapport with clients and a non-judgmental, empathetic approach to care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

• A collaborative mindset, ready to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience.
