Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s unique trauma history and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and other trauma-focused modalities.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and further their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of the patient’s health are addressed through team meetings, case consultations, and coordinated treatment efforts.

• Respond to trauma-related emergencies by providing crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on understanding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, guiding them towards appropriate resources.

• Ensure all documentation is accurate and confidential, adhering to legal and ethical standards, including maintaining electronic health records (EHR).

• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will involve working with a diverse group of clients, including adults and adolescents dealing with trauma-related conditions. You will empower these individuals by providing them with the tools and insights necessary to confront their pasts and move towards sustainable recovery. Your role is crucial to fostering a sense of safety and trust that allows clients to share their experiences openly.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California is essential.

• Possession of at least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong understanding of a range of trauma-related disorders and evidenced-based trauma-informed treatment methods.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
