This position offers the flexibility of a remote telehealth setting, allowing you to connect with patients from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s history and identify tailored treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on promoting trauma recovery, resilience-building, and empowering patients to achieve their goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively support patients through their healing process.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing patients with a safe space to process their trauma and develop coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating prompt and effective decision-making skills.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure in Texas as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW is essential to practice in this role.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred, with a focus on trauma-informed care approaches.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities aimed at trauma recovery.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor when engaging with patients.

• Ability to stay composed and maintain professionalism in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with computer applications to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with additional training in trauma-focused therapies or certifications in relevant modalities (such as EMDR) will be favored for this role. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
