Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and determine optimal treatment strategies.

• Collaboratively develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience-building techniques.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring the highest quality of care.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on coping strategies, emotional healing, and skills development for processing trauma.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support during trauma-related emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, fostering understanding and empowerment through access to coping resources and strategies.

• Maintain consistent and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will provide care tailored to the specific needs of these clients, employing a trauma-informed lens that recognizes the unique challenges they face.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Texas.

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, reflecting a patient-centered and empathetic approach.

• Ability to remain composed under pressure, especially during high-stress situations that require immediate intervention.

• Proficient in the use of EHR systems and comfortable with various computer applications relevant to mental health care.

• A collaborative mindset, working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
