Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify patients' trauma histories and delineate appropriate, individualized treatment strategies.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping skills development.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective healing processes for patients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where patients can openly discuss their trauma, gain insights, and develop personalized coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide holistic, integrated care to patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring patients feel safe and supported.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including case consultations and team meetings, to stay current with best practices in trauma-informed care.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of therapeutic approaches through research and application of emerging practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals recovering from various forms of trauma, including but not limited to, those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Working with this demographic requires not only clinical expertise but also a deep understanding of the psychological effects of trauma. You will play a pivotal role in building therapeutic relationships that promote trust and open communication, facilitating clients on their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Knowledge of trauma-related disorders and demonstrated experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, paired with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, specifically in trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong base salary, our benefits package includes:
