Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, effectively evaluating patients' trauma histories to tailor treatment strategies.

• Design and execute personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and bolster resilience, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy programs, assisting patients in processing traumatic events and developing practical coping strategies.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, promoting continuity and integration of services.

• Provide crisis intervention for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring they receive immediate, compassionate support.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for ongoing support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a member of our team, you will primarily work with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals managing PTSD. Your role will be pivotal in offering them a therapeutic space to heal, thrive, and rebuild their lives. The clientele may have diverse backgrounds and experiences, which will require a tailored approach to each individual’s therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and experiences with trauma-focused interventions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward all clients.

• Ability to navigate high-stress scenarios while maintaining a composed demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with trauma-affected populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
