Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and formulate tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing emotional resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources for ongoing support and coping strategies.

• Ensure accurate and confidential documentation in line with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops with a focus on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse patient population affected by various forms of trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, and unforeseen life events. You will be instrumental in building trust with your clients, fostering an environment where they feel safe to explore difficult emotions and experiences. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health treatment.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions effectively.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain composure and clarity under pressure.

• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related software applications.
\n
• Commitment to collaborative work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working within community health settings and familiarity with integrated care models will be advantageous. Knowledge of local resources and referral networks to support your clients' recovery will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
