Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments that allow for thorough evaluations of patients' trauma histories.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to guide patients in processing their trauma and building effective coping strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention services during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive timely support when they need it most.

• Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings that promote informed treatment approaches and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will primarily support individuals grappling with trauma-related disorders. This patient population often includes survivors of abuse, individuals facing grief and loss, veterans coping with PTSD, as well as those struggling with anxiety and depression exacerbated by traumatic experiences. Understanding the complexities of their experiences will be vital in delivering effective and empathic treatment.

Qualifications\n

• Possess a Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Hold an active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
