Work Environment\n

This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and comfort in your work setting. Our team operates on a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs. By leveraging digital communication tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems, you will efficiently connect with clients and colleagues while maintaining high standards of care and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and unique needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and long-term mental health stability.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that provide a safe space for patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive integrated, comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses and coping mechanisms, equipping them with practical tools for recovery.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all records are current and accurate.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings focused on trauma-informed practices and ongoing professional development.

• Continuously update your knowledge of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, incorporating them into your clinical practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals of various ages and backgrounds who are coping with the aftermath of trauma. Our focus is on providing tailored support to patients dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a key role in helping these individuals find healing and rebuild their strength.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma survivors is preferred.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Experience providing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while focusing on patient care.
\n
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.
\n
• Capacity for collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a hospice or outpatient setting with a focus on trauma care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
