Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' backgrounds and develop individualized treatment approaches.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, drawing on evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping strategies, and promote healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care doctors, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care and ensure comprehensive treatment for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations with appropriate interventions to support patients in trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available support resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to continuously improve treatment approaches and share insights on trauma-informed care practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in Washington State.

Compensation and Benefits\n
