Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand each patient’s unique trauma history and ascertain the best therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and enhance coping skills.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in your sessions.

• Provide both individual and group therapy, facilitating discussions that enable patients to process their trauma experiences and develop new coping strategies.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

• Respond to and manage crises related to trauma effectively, providing immediate support and intervention when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and available resources, empowering them to navigate recovery more effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on a diverse client population primarily composed of individuals recovering from various forms of trauma. You will have the opportunity to work with clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders, along with other mental health challenges. Your expertise will play an essential role in building resilience and fostering healing across different demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The starting salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
