Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexible working conditions while maintaining close collaboration with a diverse team of professionals. You will engage with colleagues using modern communication tools, ensuring effective teamwork and consultation on patient care. Your structured work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories, contributing to tailored treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions aimed at facilitating trauma processing and enhancing coping skills.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to foster comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available resources.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in ongoing case consultations, team meetings, and professional development sessions focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve include individuals who have experienced various levels of trauma, including those affected by PTSD, childhood trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will guide them through difficult personal narratives, helping them to heal and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is required.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.

• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism and empathy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related documentation software.
