Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' histories and needs, forming the foundation for an individualized treatment plan.

• Develop and implement tailored therapeutic protocols focusing on trauma recovery, resilience, and personal empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based techniques including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that encourage participants to share experiences, learn coping strategies, and build a support network.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and clinicians to ensure holistic and integrated patient care, addressing both mental health and medical needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support, utilizing your skills to de-escalate situations involving trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, ensuring they have access to helpful resources and tools.

• Maintain accurate, thorough, and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus in this role will be working with individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to those suffering from PTSD, anxiety disorders, and complex trauma. Your expertise in trauma-informed therapies will be crucial in guiding these patients through their recovery journeys, helping them develop coping strategies, and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Possession of a current and valid licensed therapist credential such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

• Solid foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed therapeutic modalities, supplemented by effective communication skills and a compassionate, empathetic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
