Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and trauma histories, tailoring treatment plans based on individual experiences.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment strategies, including modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, creating safe spaces for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings associated with trauma, and fostering the development of effective coping strategies.

• Engage in multi-disciplinary team collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring cohesive care and comprehensive resource availability for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support during traumatic events or elevated stress situations, utilizing your skills to guide clients through emergency responses.
\n
• Maintain meticulously accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring all documentation reflects ongoing care progress.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings, sharing insights and strategies for trauma-informed care while enhancing your professional development through continuous education.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of trauma survivors who face challenges ranging from PTSD, complex trauma responses, and dissociative disorders. Your ability to provide empathetic and informed care is essential as you help clients reclaim their narratives and discover paths to recovery. You will also serve families, educating them on trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms to support their loved ones.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to effectively manage high-stress situations with composure and professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in essential computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred. Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions will be highly valued, as will a strong understanding of resilience-building methodologies. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
