Work Environment\n

This role operates in a fully remote setting, offering flexibility in work-life balance while maintaining an outpatient focus. Our therapists work from the comfort of their own home offices, utilizing telehealth technology to connect meaningfully with patients. The workload typically includes regular office hours Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on patient needs. You will have access to a robust electronic health record (EHR) system to streamline documentation and engagement with patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma narratives and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that prioritize recovery and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deliver impactful interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a structured environment for patients to express their emotions, process their experiences, and cultivate coping strategies.

• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and responsive support during traumatic emergencies, ensuring immediate access to care for patients in need.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, equipping them with tools to navigate their recovery journey.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development workshops, and case consultations, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy, ensuring that you implement best practices in your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma. This includes adults and adolescents dealing with the aftermath of traumatic life events, including abuse, neglect, catastrophic accidents, or military experiences. Your work will focus on providing compassionate and culturally sensitive support tailored to each individual’s unique journey. You will be instrumental in helping patients navigate their trauma histories, encouraging them to find strength and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
