Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating patients' trauma histories to guide treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s unique experiences and goals for recovery.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, equipping patients with coping strategies and resilience-building skills.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and integrated care for all patients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and stabilizing support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available supportive resources to enhance their understanding and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring that patient records are accurate and up-to-date.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and workshops focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed of the latest research, treatment modalities, and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to continually enhance clinical effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be assisting individuals grappling with various trauma-related conditions, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Your expertise and empathy will empower patients at different stages of their recovery journeys, ensuring they receive personalized support in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding and knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills complemented by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations while delivering crucial care.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
