This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible schedule. As part of our telehealth team, you will use advanced technology platforms to deliver therapy sessions, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care that meets their needs. You will also engage regularly with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, trauma-informed assessments to gather comprehensive histories and assess PTSD and other trauma-related symptoms.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during therapy sessions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, allowing patients to express their feelings and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated care to patients.
\n
• Respond effectively to crisis situations by providing immediate support and interventions during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them to navigate recovery.
\n
• Ensure accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards through electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to continually improve practices and foster a collaborative approach to patient care.

• Stay current with developments in trauma-informed care through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals recovering from trauma-related disorders. You will support diverse populations, including survivors of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events. Your empathetic approach will help create a trusting environment for clients, facilitating their healing journey as they work through complex emotional and psychological challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and a commitment to using trauma-informed methodologies in treatment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, characterized by a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficient in using EHR systems and comfortable utilizing various computer applications to enhance patient care delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working directly with trauma-affected populations.

• Hands-on experience in implementing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and therapies.

• Proficiency in crisis intervention skills and conflict resolution is highly valued.
