Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ traumatic histories, strengths, and needs, followed by formulating appropriate treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery, cognitive restructuring, and resilience-building.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process their trauma experiences and explore healthy coping mechanisms.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless continuum of care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during active trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a swift response to acute incidents.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available external resources for additional support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with a capacity for empathy and a non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Ability to remain composed in high-stress environments and respond effectively to crisis situations.

• Technical skills in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with computer applications.

• Proficiency in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
