Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's trauma history and identify the most effective treatment strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on helping patients process their trauma and implementing coping skills.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and integrated care tailored to their needs.

• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling focusing on trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
