Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, while regularly collaborating with fellow mental health professionals in an outpatient setting. While we typically maintain a Monday to Friday work schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, leveraging evidence-based interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, empowering clients to process their trauma and adopt effective coping strategies.

• Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary care teams to provide integrated care and support to patients.

• Respond to crisis situations related to trauma, offering immediate intervention and care to ensure patient safety.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma symptoms and coping mechanisms, guiding them toward helpful resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collective understanding of patients' needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals affected by trauma, including those with complex trauma, PTSD, and related dissociative disorders. You will work closely with patients who often face significant emotional and psychological challenges. Your role will be to guide them through their recovery journey, emphasizing resilience, empowerment, and healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing your adeptness in trauma-focused therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders, as well as trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster a compassionate and non-judgmental environment for clients.

• Capability to maintain composure during high-stress situations, providing reliable support to patients in crisis.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools essential for documentation and case management.

• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of post-licensure experience is the baseline, candidates with extensive experience in administering trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and TF-CBT, will find this position particularly rewarding. Additionally, experience enhancing clients' coping mechanisms within both individual and group therapeutic settings is highly valuable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
