Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's history and tailor treatment strategies accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, ensuring alignment with the patient's specific needs and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patient recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a space for patients to process their experiences and build effective coping strategies.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for further support.

• Maintain detailed and confidential case notes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development activities focused on advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of current research and trends in trauma therapy to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient demographic includes adults and adolescents who have experienced significant trauma, resulting in mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in providing care that is sensitive to their unique histories and individual needs, working to empower them toward recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to care.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to document and manage patient interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in delivering mental health services, particularly in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
