Work Environment\n

As a remote employee, you will work from home, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured schedule. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This position is designed to provide work-life balance while ensuring that you can meaningfully engage with your clients through virtual sessions and telehealth capabilities.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments of new patients, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to evaluate their mental health needs.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that include coping strategies tailored to each patient's experiences and goals.

• Actively listen to patients during consultations, establishing a therapeutic rapport that fosters trust and openness.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on individual developments and outcomes.

• Provide educational resources on trauma coping mechanisms, stress relief techniques, and overall mental wellness.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

• Advocate for the establishment of effective support services for trauma patients, responding to community needs through proactive outreach initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients who are navigating significant mental and emotional challenges. This specialized population may include individuals recovering from various types of traumatic incidents, necessitating a deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles. You will be instrumental in helping patients not only to manage their immediate mental health concerns but also to understand their potential for long-term healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience specifically working with trauma patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
