Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and resilience-building, adjusting as necessary based on patient progress.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and coping.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma, building coping skills, and fostering emotional growth.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to deliver integrated and cohesive care tailored to patient needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services during situations requiring immediate mental health support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available for further support.

• Ensure accurate and confidentiality-compliant documentation of patient progress and treatment details, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of trauma-related disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and resilience-building approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
