Work Environment\n

This remote position allows flexibility while providing essential services to clients. Our team fosters a collaborative atmosphere where therapists can share insights and strategies centered around trauma-informed care. The role necessitates effective communication and cooperation with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and other healthcare personnel, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility based on patient scheduling needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients' traumatic experiences and identify suitable treatment options.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to address each individual's unique trauma recovery goals and promote resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to effectively help patients process their trauma.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in developing effective coping strategies, processing their emotions, and fostering healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support and assistance during trauma-related emergencies when necessary.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms to ensure broader understanding and support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Harmony Mental Healthcare, you will be working primarily with individuals who are survivors of trauma. This includes—but is not limited to—individuals suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, and therapists are expected to approach each case with sensitivity and a deep commitment to fostering healing and holistic recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience with a focus on trauma-informed therapy is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
