Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while staying connected with your colleagues through teleconferencing and digital collaboration tools. While the standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique trauma history and determine suitable treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that target trauma recovery and reinforce resilience, regularly updating these plans based on patient progress.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in their recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering an environment where patients can process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and promote their overall emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective support for clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records compliant with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and treatment plans.

• Actively engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development focused on trauma-informed practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.

• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are primarily individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to abuse, neglect, severe loss, and catastrophic events. We serve a diverse population, offering specialized support tailored to their unique experiences and healing needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical counseling setting, with a strong emphasis on trauma-related therapies.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Proven experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, including EMDR and TF-CBT.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and effectively support clients in crisis.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant technology tools to efficiently document client interactions and treatment outcomes.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to further enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
