Work Environment\n

This role is entirely remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to a meaningful cause. The standard work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with possible adjustments based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments that evaluate patients' trauma history and identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop tailored, individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring a safe space for patients.
\n
• Engage in continuous collaboration with psychiatrists and other health care professionals to enhance integrated care for our patients.

• Provide education to patients and families about trauma responses and resources available to assist with recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and strategies for improved patient outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on helping individuals who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, violence, and other distressing life events. You will engage with a diverse client population, supporting them as they navigate their healing process and helping them develop coping strategies and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of trauma-related disorders and an understanding of trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, demonstrating resilience and professionalism.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure clinical experience in trauma-focused therapies.

• Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary mental health team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
