Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience enhancement, and goal achievement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions that help patients articulate their experiences, foster coping skills, and promote holistic healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of the patient's well-being.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to foster understanding and resilience.

• Maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and contemporary trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience providing trauma-focused therapy and effective interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal abilities and communication skills, underscored by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• The capacity to remain calm and competent in high-stress or crisis situations.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n
