Work Environment\n

As a remote organization, our work culture emphasizes collaboration and flexibility. While you will work from your own space, we foster a connected workforce through regular virtual team meetings, case consultations, and collaborative efforts with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and other mental health providers. Your schedule will typically be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the trauma history of patients and develop appropriate treatment approaches.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, utilizing effective strategies tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, develop vital coping strategies, and foster emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support in trauma-related emergencies, employing effective de-escalation techniques.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources to aid their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that meets legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay up to date with the latest in trauma therapy and mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced significant trauma in their lives. This diverse population includes survivors of abuse, violence, and other forms of trauma that can lead to complex psychological challenges. Using a trauma-informed approach, you will support these clients in their quest for healing, helping them reconstruct their narratives and build resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience directly related to trauma therapy preferred.

• Solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster an empathetic and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship.

• A knack for remaining composed and effective in high-stress situations, with proven crisis management skills.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proficiency in various computer applications relevant to counseling practices.

• A strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering trauma-specific therapies and interventions, including but not limited to EMDR and TF-CBT.

• Prior work in community health settings that have a focus on diverse and underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
