Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' traumatic histories and ascertain effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, leveraging your expertise in various therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, build essential coping strategies, and discover pathways to resilience.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure integrated, comprehensive care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and wellbeing.

• Inform clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available supplementary resources to ensure holistic support.

• Maintain all documentation with precision, ensuring strict compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in ongoing case consultations, participate in team strategy discussions, and pursue professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your critical role will primarily focus on individuals experiencing psychological trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Ability to remain composed and provide effective support in high-pressure situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
